Access Log Manager
Learn more about the Access Log Manager and also the info that you will find inside it.
An access log features a record of all of the files which have been requested by the visitors while browsing your Internet site. The list is thorough, so if you have a web page with two embedded images, for instance, all of the three files shall be in the log, not just the page. An access log typically contains the date, the Operating System, the browser and the IP address for each and every file in human-readable form, so you can get a good idea about the most popular files on your site. The log, that's also frequently named "raw data", is an addition to the web statistics you commonly get with a hosting account, not a substitute. A good example why you might need such a log is if you would like to use some software on your PC to prepare a report about the website’s performance, but you do not want to use the standard graphs and tables which come with the server-generated site statistics.

Access Log Manager in Shared Web Hosting
If you purchase a
shared web hosting from us, you'll be able to choose if access logs must be generated and for which domains or subdomains inside your account this should be done. You may activate this option from the Access/Error Logs section of the Hepsia CP, integrated with all shared accounts. Any
domain you host or subdomain you set up shall be listed there and you see an On/Off option next to every one of them, so you can quickly trigger or deactivate the generation of access logs separately for every website that you have. You can save a log to your laptop or computer by clicking on the Download link you'll see inside the exact same section of the CP. The link shall be available even if you disable the log generation, so you will still have access to the data gathered by our system.

semi-dedicated server account with our company, you shall have the option to trigger or disable the generation of access logs with just a couple of clicks from your Hepsia hosting CP. All it takes for our system to start generating logs is one click on the On button that you'll see there. The feature can be enabled separately for any site regardless if it uses a domain or a subdomain and you will find a detailed list of all the hosts in that section. Any access log can be downloaded as a text file with simply a click and you may then look at it manually or use some software on your personal computer.
